Section 01
Information we collect
When you use the Nockta website or engage us as a client, we may collect the name, work email, company name, role, project details, and budget range you submit through forms; technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited; and any communication you choose to send us by email, phone, or in a meeting. We do not buy lists, scrape contact data, or run cold outreach.
Section 02
How we use it
We use submitted information to respond to your enquiry, scope work, prepare proposals, and run any engagement you sign with us. We use technical site data to understand traffic and improve performance. We never sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for cross-site tracking.
Section 03
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep the site working and a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. You can refuse non-essential cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the site.
Section 04
Sharing and processors
We share information with trusted service providers strictly to operate Nockta — for example, our email host, our form-processing service, and our hosting platform. These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations and process data only on our instructions. We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing.
Section 05
Storage and retention
Project briefs and engagement records are kept for the duration of an engagement plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax, and reference purposes. Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics may be retained longer. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Section 06
Your rights
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion, or withdraw consent for ongoing processing. Residents of Quebec, Canada, the EU, the UK, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws have additional statutory rights — we will honour those rights regardless of where you are based. To exercise any right, email hello@nockta.com.
Section 07
Security
We protect submitted data with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: encrypted transport, access controls, regular dependency updates, and least-privilege provisioning across our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat client and prospect data as if it were our own.
Section 08
International transfers
Nockta operates across Montreal, Toronto, Istanbul, London, and Cairo. Your information may be processed in any of these jurisdictions or by service providers based elsewhere. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Section 09
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact hello@nockta.com and we will delete it.
Section 10
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy from time to time as the business or regulations change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be reasonably highlighted.
Section 11
Contact
Questions, requests, or complaints can be sent to hello@nockta.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority — for example, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
